This role requires one to be a self-starter with strong business modeling skills, keen attention to detail and good track record of collaborating with diverse stakeholders. This role has regular interaction with senior leadership and stakeholders across Amazon and requires strong verbal and written communication skills. The candidate will need to be capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy and hence needs to demonstrate a high degree of comfort with ambiguity besides holding a high bar on performance. The candidate will need to have a proven track record for hiring, developing and retaining the best talent.


Key job responsibilities
• Delivering complex, large-scale programs and projects from initiation through delivery by leading cross-functional, geographically diverse project teams.
• Understanding the business requirements and then ensuring these can be implemented from a people, process, policy and technology perspective by working with technical teams to effectively design, develop, test and launch scalable solutions that address customer needs while meeting our high controllership standards.
• Identifying and mitigating potential risks and obstacles by collaborating closely with business partners, key PMO (Project Management Office) Excellence stakeholders and team members. Ensuring Plan B’s are always in place.
• Continually strengthening Finance Operations effectiveness with a relentless focus on identifying and delivering continuous improvement opportunities.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of program managers (L4-L5). Drive performance management, career development, and succession planning
• Partner with senior leadership to align priorities and strategy and present regular updates to executive leadership
