Tail Sourcing Buyer
We're looking for a detail-oriented Buyer to join our procurement team supporting operations across North and Latin America. In this role, you'll manage day-to-day purchasing activities while learning the fundamentals of tail spend management and supplier negotiations.
As a Tail Sourcing Buyer, you'll handle high-volume purchasing requests from our operations teams across the USA, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. You'll work closely with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure efficient processing of orders, competitive pricing, and compliance with procurement policies. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, has strong attention to detail, and wants to build a foundation in procurement opreations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute and manage tail spend sourcing activities, focusing on low-value, high-volume transactions across NA-LATAM regions
• Drive competitive bidding processes and conduct market analysis for tail spend categories
• Provide timely support to stakeholders for spot-buy requirements while ensuring compliance with procurement policies
• Monitor and analyze spending patterns to identify consolidation opportunities and potential cost savings
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, terms, and conditions
• Support the development and implementation of tail spend management strategies
• Maintain effective communication and relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
• Contributing to the effective delivery of metrics by ensuring workstream KPIs and SLA's targets are met through:
- Meeting service level agreements (SLA) for standard sourcing activities
- Achieving assigned sourcing and savings targets
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting
• Ensure alignment and adherence to Amazon's Spending and Transaction Policy and internal Global Procurement processes
• Participate in cross-functional improvement projects and process optimization initiatives
