The Studios Technology team supports production personnel (cast and crew) and Studios business teams (production operations, post production, and marketing) and our Media Supply Chain. We work in a team environment and interact with production personnel and studio executives at all levels. Our Infrastructure Engineering team is looking for a Site Reliability Engineers to build, deploy, operate, and sustain our critical infrastructure and systems. The team will operationalize the stability and reliability of these systems and discover innovative ways to scale and operate them reliably as we expand. You will deploy and monitor the systems and automation to ensure that critical infrastructure is operating optimally and implement mechanisms to prevent service impacting incidents. You will utilize trends and metrics to identify opportunities for improvements within existing frameworks, tools and processes to continuously improve systems. Site Reliability Engineers focus on automating infrastructure at scale and using best practice stability and reliability protocols to ensure reliability and repeatability.

Key job responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, be detail driven, and have excellent problem-solving abilities. You will be comfortable working in AWS and supporting applications in an AWS context. You will have experience deploying as well as resolving critical issues with developers on production systems. The role will be responsible for systems functionality, performance, and optimizing configurations in collaboration with software development teams. The ideal candidate can demonstrate experience working with AWS, software development, scripting concepts and trouble shooting. It is important that you can earn trust of your peers and stakeholders through your body of work and day to day interactions. This role requires ambition, thinking big, self-motivation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and startup-like environment.
A day in the life
* Expertise with AWS-based products and solutions
* Experience deploying applications at scale in AWS
* Comfortable triaging and resolving production issues.
* Experience designing, developing, deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in an AWS context
* Python development and scripting experience
* Builds solutions for problems of sizable scope and complexity that have been successfully deployed to customers/users
* Builds and enhances Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines within AWS

Engineers are responsible for developing the tools, platforms, and methodologies that deliver performant, resilient, and efficient cloud platforms and architectures. Our engineers touch a wide range of AWS applications and infrastructure components.
