DESCRIPTION

As the PMO in the North America Sort Center (NASC) Engineering organization, you will serve as a strategic technical leader responsible for providing executive-level guidance and operational oversight across the organization's most critical engineering initiatives and launches. This unique role combines high-level strategic planning with deep technical expertise, supporting the Director and orchestrating complex, cross-organizational programs. You will lead the PMO for the organization and shape technical direction, drive organizational effectiveness, and ensure successful delivery of strategic priorities.

Key job responsibilities
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the Director of NASC Engineering, supporting in senior-level meetings and critical decision-making forums.
• Lead and oversee critical engineering and technical initiatives across multiple teams, aligning projects with the organization's strategic goals and roadmap from planning to delivery.
• Develop and deliver executive-level communications and recommendations, synthesizing complex technical and programmatic information into actionable insights.
• Establish and maintain scalable program management practices that balance efficiency with appropriate oversight.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership, key stakeholders, and engineering teams, driving consensus on complex cross-organizational challenges.
• Establish and monitor key performance metrics to drive operational excellence.
• Lead data-driven decision making for resource allocation, priority setting, and business case development for major initiatives.
• Mentor and develop program managers and strategic engineers across the organization while actively participating in hiring processes to build high-performing teams.
