Key job responsibilities
* Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, voice of the customer, user journeys, customer feedback, and usability findings.
* Build the vision for designing, communicating and implementing the user experience for all customer personas
Iteratively create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high fidelity mockups and detailed UI and visual design specifications.
* Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams, as well as business stakeholders and executive leadership to defined well-crafted requirements.
* Adhere to branding guidelines and design standardization across all of the team's products.
* Incorporate customer feedback, technical constraints, data insights, and usability findings into design.
* Develop and maintain detailed information architecture and design specifications.
* Establish and maintain detailed user-interface patterns and specifications—working closely with developers to see your design through to deployment.
* Participate in experiment definition and metrics analysis to inform design/UX optimization efforts and launch/no launch decisions.
* Be resourceful and creative to overcome obstacles and turn challenges into opportunities.

About the team
GSS Engineering has several teams distributed across key development centers primarily within the US, but also globally. The team is driving AWS's new security growth initiatives. Our vision is to secure the world's workloads and create a brighter future for humanity. We work with customers and partners to develop security solutions that enable our service teams to deliver the right products and features. By harnessing security-relevant data, we gain insights and automate actions to mitigate customer security concerns proactively, ideally without requiring any action on their part. Our teams are responsible for full-stack implementation and integration of new security services, which power secure outcomes for AWS customers.
