DESCRIPTION

AWS Strategic Accounts Business Operations team is seeking an Operations leader to work with Tech Solution teams (Solution Architects) to build and run critical business management cadences including goal setting, key initiatives, monthly business reviews, productivity and revenue impact analysis, to make business recommendations – all in an environment of rapid growth and increasing complexity. This will include working with the Tech leadership to develop, implement and manage the business processes, systems, reports and strategies that optimize business functions to meet organizational goals and initiatives.

The successful candidate must be able to roll-up his/her sleeves, and work directly with the models/data. He/she will be passionate about their work, detail-oriented, analytical, and have excellent problem-solving abilities. He/she will be experienced at working with large data sets and the technical tools needed to work with them. He/she will have superb communication and customer-relationship skills, strong analytic insight, and be a passionate advocate for their customers to other internal stakeholders. Active collaboration with leadership in AWS Business Intelligence, Specialists, Business Development will be crucial to the effective execution of the responsibilities. He/she will drive towards simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems, have excellent project-management skills, and be able to communicate complex analytical results, both written and verbally, in a way that is clear and easy-to-understand.


Key job responsibilities
Sr Tech Ops lead will act as a trusted advisor to support incubation and growth for some of the newest and most innovative areas of the business such as GenAI. You will drive improvements to the reporting tools, methods, and processes utilized by the team to increase the availability and granularity of actionable data to their customers. This position also manages the administration and execution of the team’s targets, including segmentation of business goals, measurement of goal attainment, evolving and driving various demand generation campaigns and proposing improvements to the Business to increase its effectiveness in driving desired results.


A day in the life
You will run routine business cadences / Tech WBRs or MBRs for tech leaders, pull reports and analyze data, enable teams on processes and goal management. You may also help tech leader operationalize key initiatives, build process and tooling to execute and manage operational aspects of strategic priorities.

Strategic Accounts Biz Ops team manages everything operational for the Strat org including Sales, Solution Architects and Customer Success Managers. We enable effective business management cadences and provide actionable business insights for our teams to serve Strategic Accounts customers. We are the trusted advisor and operational expert to execute strategy and improve productivity of our teams.
