The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Supply Chain and Procurement team is responsible for the end-to-end supply chain delivery of capacity to AWS Data Centers. AWS Infrastructure is looking for a talented, driven, and highly analytical, Logistics Fulfillment Manager with demonstrated experience driving process improvement. This Manager will be responsible for on-going fulfillment/warehousing management and strategic development of the next generation of fulfillment operations and expansion for Amazon Web Services. This role will manage vendor(s) critical to the successful fulfillment of hardware to AWS data centers in North and South America. Achieving such aspirational goals will require this individual to insist on the highest standards, develop and iterate on new processes, and drive continuous improvement activities internally and externally.
Key job responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day warehousing and fulfillment operations, aligning with ACL NALA objectives and delivery commitments.
• Develop and enforce SOPs for receiving, storage, order processing, shipping, and inventory control.
• Forecast storage needs, optimize layouts, and drive throughput improvements.
• Lead Lean-based continuous improvement to eliminate waste and reduce cycle times.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and bonded warehousing standards.
• Manage 3PL vendor performance to meet SLAs, cost targets, and customer requirements.
• Integrate WMS and ERP systems for data visibility and automation.
• Oversee onboarding of new programs and products, collaborating on launch readiness.
• Analyze KPIs such as throughput, order cycle times, and labor productivity, providing insights to leadership.
• Optimize inventory strategies for fast- and slow-moving items.
• Partner with engineering and procurement teams to align warehouse operations with business needs.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering ownership and high standards.
• Lead root cause analysis on operational defects, implementing corrective actions for continuous improvement.
