Prior experience with consumer facing products, GUI/VUI consumer experience creation, interactive device development and 3P partner relationships will be critical components of this role. Key job responsibilities
As a Sr Product Manager - Technical, you will be responsible for building Audio-related features on Alexa+. You will own a charter to make Classical Music shine on Alexa+, and deliver short, medium, and long term improvements to this content type - both for novice listeners and also enthusiasts. This charter includes lean-back, voice-forward experiences on speakers without screens, as well as engaged, exploratory experiences for customers on large devices with screens. Another charter this role owns is smarter quality improvements for Audio experiences in Alexa+. Specifically, improving Alexa's ability to perform multiple actions in response to a single customer request (compound requests). To deliver on both these charters, this role will work closely with engineering, science, design, business intelligence, operations, finance and executive teams to bring this long term roadmap to customers. It must also work well with central/horizontal teams, which often own underlying capabilities needed to unlock Audio improvements. A successful candidate must be customer obsessed, very comfortable with product and organizational ambiguity, and able to communicate and deliver effectively in a matrixed organization.
