Amazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented Legal Assistant in Seattle to support the Compliance and Security Assurance, Cybersecurity and Law Enforcement Response legal team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS is a dynamic and rapidly growing business within Amazon.com and is at the forefront of the cloud computing service industry, providing IT infrastructure services, such as on-demand compute, storage, database, network and content delivery, artificial intelligence, mobile, and internet of things services, and more.

The successful candidate must be inquisitive, enthusiastic about technology, enjoy working hard and being continually challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations. The candidate will possess the ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects quickly with little guidance, react with appropriate urgency, take effective action without having to know the total picture, and solve problems that affect people within the group or other related groups. The candidate will be internal client-service oriented, have great attention to detail while still meeting tight deadlines, have great organizational skills, and have the ability to easily switch gears. The candidate will possess a high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information, as well as the ability to work well with people at all levels inside and outside the company.

Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities will include administering contracts, identifying and implementing automation/simplification projects, supporting the adoption of legal AI tools, general administrative tasks such as offsite coordination and outside counsel management, as well as coordinating other legal and administrative matters with business groups.
