Product for Alexa Core Experience (PACE) team is developing innovative solutions to make Alexa a trusted assistant that helps customers daily. In this role you will focus on driving the strategy and delivery of cross device continuity of the experience.

You will:

1/ Define and drive customer-facing features for Alexa.
2/ Create advanced features out of technical innovations.
3/ Drive clarity out of ambiguity, communicate a clear vision and align others to execute on your thoughtful requirements.
4/ Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points.
5/ Work closely with science, engineering, UX/design, business development, legal, and internal and external partner organizations.
6/ Partner with other Amazon teams.

Key job responsibilities
This is a horizontal product role spanning multiple delivery orgs in a functional product team. PACE team is central to delivery of the most capable agent at the highest quality bar. The right candidate will possess an understanding of engaging with science and engineering teams to deliver foundational technologies and customer experience at the highest quality bar.
In this role, you will redefine and operationalize how the continuity of experience looks and feels like for Customers. What is accessible when, how and why. You will shape and deliver the core aspects of the conversational experience Alexa is known for.

A day in the life
Cut through ambiguity, apply mechanisms, deliver requirements and engage deeply with science, engineering, feature, and UX teams to deliver bar raising customer experiences. Ultimately, you own the customer experience, with customer satisfaction as your ultimate success measure. You will engage with science and engineering teams daily, and update senior leadership on progress weekly. This is a high velocity, high ambiguity problem space, scrappiness and ability to drive teams with clarity will allow for success.

About the team
We are leading the Product definition for Core Experience of Alexa. A functional team of product leaders (with some TPM and BI support) that spans across critical areas like conversation, creative capabilities, personality and many more. Our primary goal is to ensure the overall Alexa experience is consistently meeting the highest customer bar.
