DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant (EA) who will provide comprehensive support to multiple directors within the WWPS and HCLS NAMER business, with a primary reporting relationship to the Director of Shared Services. The AWS Worldwide Public Sector Shared Services organization partners with Worldwide Government, Education, Nonprofit, and Healthcare customers throughout the entire relationship lifecycle. The organization helps both new and existing customers understand how the world’s most compelling and secure technology can transform service and support of their citizens, students, and patients. Shared Services turns big ideas into actionable strategies, guiding customers through acquisition planning and contract performance. This team of global experts includes professionals in Global Lead Development, Contracts, and Capture and Proposal functions.

The ideal candidate will support senior leadership by managing defined priorities across different leadership teams. This role requires a professional who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility while maintaining focus on tactical execution and problem-solving. The candidate must be able to execute defined tasks and projects from start to end, handling priorities with attention to detail and professionalism, while being open to guidance and solution refinement from leadership. The ideal candidate will work effectively within our leadership ecosystem, providing administrative support to multiple directors while learning to anticipate team needs.

The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility, handle situations professionally, and communicate clearly while being eager to learn Amazon's business culture and best practices.

Key job responsibilities
• Support primarily the Shared Services Director as well as other WWPS and HCLS NAMER directors and their leadership teams (as needed)
• Aid in the execution and management of team activities and internal/external meetings and events
• Help with annual operational planning processes following established procedures
• Handle calendar management and scheduling for multiple directors
• Collect and process expenses
• Coordinate travel logistics following established protocols
• Serve as a liaison between customers, senior leadership, and business stakeholders
• Manage time-sensitive and confidential information following set guidelines
• Track deliverables and follow up on action items
• Work in direct partnership with the Lead EA of WWPS in the direction and organization of the Shared Services EA team such as leading internal EA meetings and advising on support allocation
• Maintain communication and tracking systems
• Limited travel may be required as determined by director, with advance notification
