We’re looking for an Email Marketing Manager to help scale our B2B communications. You will own the execution and day-to-day management of email programs, partner with cross-functional teams to support seller education and engagement, and build the automations that power 1:many email communications.

This role works closely with our marketing, business development, product, and seller success teams. The ideal candidate has experience in both building and optimizing high-performing email programs.


Key job responsibilities
Email Execution & Optimization
• Build, test, and deploy HTML emails and landing pages in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Pardot)
• Maintain and develop Amazon Autos branded email templates across key 1:many dealer touchpoints
• Partner with design teams to implement bar-raising email experiences that align with brand guidelines
• Ensure email content meets business needs/goals and copyedit for email best practices

Program Management
• Manage email intake, approval workflows, email calendar, data hygiene of email audience and deployment of communications
• Collaborate with seller-facing stakeholders across business development, program managers, product, and account managers to prioritize messaging needs based on business needs

Automation & Analysis
• Scale email as a mass comms channel through automation
• Create and optimize automated campaigns based on seller journey
• Develop email segmentation strategies and campaign flows for different dealer audience types (e.g., prospects, active sellers, New v. Used sellers)
• Execute tests, analyze results, and recommend improvements in performance
• Identify opportunities for testing, personalizing, launching new lifecycle campaigns to drive business performance

Email Operations
• Work with technical teams to ensure data synchronizations between email platform and internal CRM systems
• Serve as the Salesforce Marketing Cloud expert and email bar raiser for the Amazon Autos team

A day in the life
In this role, you will balance urgent business needs with building scalable, long-term solutions to scale email as a mass communication channel. On a typical day, you might build and launch an automated email drip campaign sequence, analyze the performance of a recent newsletter, and collaborate with team members to finalize messaging for an upcoming feature announcement. You will work closely with teams to ensure email communications align with the overall B2B content strategy, while taking ownership of the technical implementation and optimization of our email programs. As the business scales, you will identify opportunities to automateand optimize.
