DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an Analytics Manager who will be responsible for delivering analytic insights to inform value-based business decisions. You will partner closely with product managers to support projects for the value-based product initiatives that will include cross-functional work across Product, Quality Improvement, Population Health, Operations, and Clinical teams. This individual will report to the Senior Quality Leader.

You thrive on collaboration with team members within your department as well as with cross functional stakeholders. You are an excellent communicator, with the ability to distill complex and disparate information to various audiences, helping inform strategic decisions. The successful candidate will be able to translate business needs and strategies into analytics solutions.

Key job responsibilities
- Use data to provide business insights (e.g. patient utilization, disease prevalence, etc) and inform strategic programmatic directions
- Understand objectives of clinical operations and value-based business; contribute to improvement efforts and collaborate with project teams to plan and execute evaluations
- Provide data expertise and engage in the development of AHS data strategy that meets both technical and business needs
- Work with AHS Product team to develop product features and data pipelines that support stakeholder needs
- Partner with cross-functional teams across the company on identifying new opportunities for data to deliver high-quality healthcare to patients and increase operational efficiency
- Partner with product managers, data engineers, and other data teams to manage downstream impact of underlying data changes
- Create reports and dashboard to democratize access to data, such that non-technical audiences can easily leverage it

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3+ years of writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
