Our systems and algorithms operate on one of the world's largest product catalog. We routinely process massive datasets with latency requirements of milliseconds using variety of distributed technologies.

As we launch new offerings to our advertisers, the Campaign Management team is looking for a Sr. Product Manager - Tech who will help create these new product experiences for our advertisers. As the Sr. Product Manager - Tech, you will frequently work directly with your customers and partners to understand their needs from both a business and technical perspective. You will be working with a team of product managers and software engineers to build, test, launch, measure, and iterate on the features that drives the campaign management within performance advertising.

As a Sr. Product Manager - Tech you are expected to excel when faced with ambiguity. You will have high judgement and understand which opportunities drive the most strategic value for the business. You will not be limited by the present and will constantly look ahead to the future. Successful candidates will enjoy working in a collaborative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and are comfortable interacting with highly technical cross-functional teams. Candidates must have excellent analytical capabilities, be comfortable diving deep into data, and have strong writing skills and executive presence. Candidates must have a track record of understanding customer needs and delivering technology solutions to address those needs. This is a highly visible position that will interact at all levels of the Performance Advertising business.

Key job responsibilities
· Define business and technical product requirements
· Lead cross-functional teams to execute on product plans and to deliver results
· Collaborate closely with stakeholders throughout Amazon to obtain buy-in for product initiatives and to set expectations
· Analyze and act on business metrics and data to grow the business
· Work with marketing, account development and sales to execute the go to market strategy

· Leverage consumer insights or competitive intelligence reports to help explain online behavioral trends and inform product decisions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
