Are you passionate about innovating on Accessibility at Amazon? We are looking for talented Technical Program Managers who want to lead and deliver cross-cutting Accessibility programs across all of the Worldwide Books and Kindle organization.
Kindle is an iconic product and a thriving business adored by customers around the world – but it’s still “day one” in inspiring the world to read more and get more out of reading every day, across all their devices. We are looking for passionate, hard-working, and talented program managers who have experience with mission-critical, high volume applications that customers love. You will have an chance to work with world-class engineers, product managers, business leaders, and other talented engineering teams as you focus on improving the accessibility features of our products.
Your primary focus will be delivering features that improve product accessibility. You will have the opportunity to work across a large organization, solving problems at scale, and defining new technical approaches. This role is pivotal in driving projects that make products easier to use for millions of customers.
Key job responsibilities
1. Own complex, cross-org programs that are transforming our products
2. Drive alignment across senior leaders, create and maintain detailed work backward plans.
3. Collaborate with TPMs and SDMs on roadmaps, priorities, planning, dependency mapping, forecasting, and tradeoffs
4. Facilitate regular project meetings and provide updates to senior leadership on project status, milestones, and adjustments
5. Engage with Sr. SDEs and Principal Engineers to evaluate technical decisions.
