Amazon Premium Beauty is seeking an experienced business development leader to recruit and launch beauty brands into Amazon's Premium Beauty program.
Amazon is increasingly the destination of choice for beauty consumers and brand. The Senior Business Development Manager (SBDM) will identify and engage with prospects, evangelizing internally and externally on behalf of Amazon Premium Beauty. Essential skills include relationship development, negotiation and strong proven analytical capabilities and project management skills, as well as great attention to detail and the ability to effectively prioritize, with a proven record of driving category growth. The SBDM must be an effective driver and communicator in working with some of Amazon.com most important future brands as well as with internal colleagues and cross-functional leaders. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for retail and a high level of flexibility and commitment.

As a customer-obsessed, beauty enthusiast, you will influence and build relationships with top brands to drive revenue and increase selection. You know current beauty and retail trends and understand how ecommerce and Amazon are transforming the beauty landscape. This position requires an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to influence a diverse set of stakeholders across multiple teams.

Using your deep knowledge of retail and beauty and a solution-oriented mindset, you will develop opportunities for Amazon within the beauty vertical. You are an excellent oral and written communicator and you possess an analytical approach to business development, leveraging data to drive decisions. You are highly organized and have the ability to work closely and constructively cross-functional teams. You're particularly adept at developing strong, one-to-one relationships at a senior level, and possess a track record of successful negotiations.

Negotiate compelling profitable deals
Effectively make channel agnostic (1P / 3P) pitches
Build trusted relationships with senior leaders inside and outside Amazon
Build Amazon's external credibility and awareness in the beauty industry
Contribute to Amazon's long term vision and strategy for an industry leading premium beauty offering
