The Conversational Assistant Services (CAS) team, within the Alexa, Customers & Technology (ACT) team seeks a driven, highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support L8 leaders. This role will work with a fun and energetic team of executive assistants.
Key job responsibilities
The EA is responsible to a broad variety of tasks including:
• Managing three active calendars; meticulous attention to detail in scheduling, coordinating and planning internal meetings, agendas and appointments; planning detailed domestic and international travel, completing expense reports.
• Optimizing executive effectiveness through partnership on priorities to react to fast-moving calendar.
• Coordinating with the EA team on organization-wide initiatives.
• Serving as the "gatekeeper" to the executives' time, screening and prioritizing appointments/meeting requests while always providing polite and professional communication.
• Communicating on behalf of the executives directly with the leadership team and other stakeholders across the organization.
• Training other administrative staff on company policies and best practices.
• Have fun at work and help others do the same!
A day in the life
On a day-to-day basic, the Executive Assistant will maintain the executives' calendar, keeping it organized for weeks in advance. This involves maintaining strong working relationships with the executives, partner EAs, and members of the business. Additionally, the Executive Assistant will partner with other EA team members on team events, space administration, and building a proactive outlook for upcoming meetings.

The Alexa, Customers & Technology team is a dynamic and exciting set of teams. The Independent Contributor Executives this role would be supporting are working on cutting edge technological problems important to all of Amazon. They are eager for an Executive Assistant to join to keep them organized and effective, and keep things fun.
- 3+ years of senior level leadership support, or 1+ years of Amazon experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience with executive level calendar management
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
- Experience managing multiple calendars

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
