DESCRIPTION

The Worldwide Consumer organization is looking for an Executive Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization. We are looking for someone to support two Directors on our Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) team.

The Supply Chain Optimization Technology (SCOT) manages inventory under uncertainty of demand, pricing, promotions, supply, vendor lead times, and product life cycle. We optimize tradeoffs among customer promise, Fast Track in-stock, sourcing cost, transportation cost, holding cost, inventory obsolescence, FC capacity, and FC location. In addition, SCOT automates and optimizes Amazon's global supply chain for physical goods.

This Executive Assistant will be responsible for handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives. Role responsibilities include managing multiple complex calendars, planning and organizing events of all sizes, and coordinating domestic and international travel. This candidate will help build a positive team environment and establish working relationships inside and outside of the group.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of senior level leadership support, or 3+ years of Amazon experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
- Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
