Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking for a world-class technical program manager (TPM) to manage security programs & projects for AWS Aurora. This is a new and highly visible challenging position.
Technical Program Managers in Aurora will handle many of the bigger inter-connected dependencies of rolling out massive organization wide projects to ensure they run efficiency and effectively. You will be responsible for identifying stakeholders, working with technical leads & product management to ensure roadmaps and strategies are created and adhered to, driving release delivery and ongoing reporting of status. You will be a champion for quality and ensuring the bar does not drop. It will be your responsibility to navigate the inter-team dependencies, identify gaps, and work with associated teams to deliver results.
You will need to work across domains, specifically with product management, engineers, engineering manager and UX teams to drive high profile projects and releases for Aurora security. You'll be responsible for helping drive our deployments to our high security regions.
A successful candidate will have a strong technical background, ideally with some experience driving technical architecture, delivery and operations of a cloud scale service.

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
