The Amazon MGM Studios team is seeking an exceptional Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) to provide strategic HR support to senior leadership within the Prime Video business.
In this role, you will be the primary HR partner for senior leaders, aligning critical people initiatives with broader business objectives. Leveraging your exceptional communication, influence, and data analytics skills, you will help inform and shape the organizational capabilities needed to drive success.
As an experienced HR professional, you must demonstrate the ability to thoroughly diagnose complex issues, recognize patterns, and recommend both immediate and long-term programmatic solutions. The ability to seamlessly collaborate across groups, influence stakeholders at all levels, and dive deep into the unique needs of this client group is essential.
Key to your success will be your strong business acumen, executive coaching expertise, excellent communication skills, and robust planning/project management capabilities. You must also excel at balancing competing priorities and driving measurable impact.

Key job responsibilities
• Partner with business leaders to drive organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment and development.
• Partner with and guide the HR Partner team, who provides management coaching and support to front-line managers.
• Review and analyze business metrics including data on retention and the employee experience in order to recommend and drive systemic improvements.
• Lead both the annual and mid-year review processes within respective leadership teams to ensure rigorous performance management and talent development.
• Provide compensation consultation including salary and equity planning, promotions and job re-leveling analysis and support.
• Work with business groups to assess, create and implement innovative solutions for a variety of employee engagement initiatives within assigned client groups and in some cases across the broader organization.
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years HR generalist experience in a leadership role
• Strong judgment and experience coaching leaders.
• Broad experience and specific knowledge of human resource theory, including employee relations, learning, and performance management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; high quality document preparation, data visualization, and facilitation skills
• 5+ years’ experience working as a business partner, and driving organizational change initiatives and developing talent management plans for global organization teams
• Work experience in Tech or Entertainment industry
• Experience leading global HR programs and related change management

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $117,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $193,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
