DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an industry-leading Senior Product Manager - Technical to drive the roadmap for our Print on Demand operators, who rely on our management tools for daily critical operations. You’ll define and deliver the Operations management experience, and you’ll use the latest technologies to develop management tools and data visualizations and generate actionable insights. As a Senior Product Manager - Technical, you’ll make our new Native AWS manufacturing software easy to adopt and to operate. You’ll partner closely with software, hardware, big data, AI/ML, Operations, and user experience teams to deliver the best experience for our internal and external customers.

The ideal candidate will have excellent product, problem solving and communication skills and be able to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels. The candidate will be at ease dealing with ambiguity, have strong attention to detail, be motivated by a fast-paced environment, and be comfortable thinking big and diving deep. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives while staying on top of tactical execution, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead the vision, definition, and WW delivery of our Operations Management roadmap.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, science, product management, UX design, and business stakeholders, to define and execute a product roadmap to deliver upon these features and experiences.
- Communicate ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all types of audiences. Write narratives, PR/FAQs, and other strategic documents.
- Work backwards from our customers and collaborate with the design team to leverage customer feedback, metrics, and data and refine UI and UX. Translate insights into actionable design improvements for an optimal user experience.
- Own feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze metrics to measure impact, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization.
- Up to 20% travel.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Experience with data analytics or building AI/ML models for business applications. Experience building for Amazon Fulfillment or Manufacturing environments. Proven track record of defining and building highly trusted products used by employees.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
