We're seeking a passionate Senior Financial Analyst with a talent for driving strategic initiatives and improving processes. You'll play a crucial role in developing and implementing projects that accelerate top-line growth, enhance profitability, and surface key insights on input metrics. Your expertise will be vital in automating existing processes and creating mechanisms to help the business monitor and inspect key performance indicators. Key job responsibilities
• Drive strategic initiatives to accelerate top-line growth and improve profitability, developing and implementing projects that surface key insights on input metrics and overall business performance.

• Create and maintain monthly mechanisms and reports for leadership, including pipeline inspection and hygiene metrics, to effectively steer the business and support data-driven decision-making.

• Design and implement process automation solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting, analysis, and monitoring of key performance indicators.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and track finance goals, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and providing actionable insights for senior AWS leadership reviews.

• Lead continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities for process optimization, developing scalable financial solutions, and championing innovative approaches to financial analysis and reporting.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 3+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 3+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
