As part of Amazon's Devices and Services Design Group (DDG), the Futures Design team is responsible for exploring and defining big, ambitious opportunities that could shape the future of consumer products and services. We operate with runway to invent and design category-defining experiences.

Working closely with business and technology partners, we use research, design, and prototyping to guide early product development, bring clarity to engineering goals, and develop a user-centric point of view. This is where you come in.

As a Senior Design Technologist, you'll be a key part of our agile Futures Design team. Leveraging your deep technical expertise and experience in world-class consumer software, you'll help unlock challenging scenarios and enhance our ability to deliver design at scale - across a range of innovative, multimodal devices. Your role will be all about proving, advancing, and evolving cutting-edge UX concepts through prototyping and hands-on product work. You'll work quickly, choosing the right technology for each task, to bring design ideas (interactions, visuals, sound, motion) to life. Your work will be instrumental in demonstrating and evaluating these concepts, serving as a crucial reference for our engineering partners.

Equipped with a maker's mindset, you'll be asked to creatively overcome platform limitations, tinker with ideas, and think outside the box in code. You will be collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and other experts, you'll deliver quickly, iteratively, and with a keen eye for detail.

Are you a passionate tinkerer who loves consumer electronics? A digital craftsperson excited to transform concepts into working code? Ready to make an impact on millions of customers? If so, we want to hear from you.
