DESCRIPTION

Leverage your legal acumen to help Amazon protect our customers and selling partners against fraud and abuse! We are looking for a talented, tech-savvy attorney to serve as lead counsel supporting the Selling Partner Trust and Store Integrity team within Customer Trust. TSI's vision is that bad actors cannot operate in our store while selling partners start and grow their business without fear of disruption, such that customers and selling partners across the globe trust us, and have confidence in the integrity of Amazon’s store.

Key job responsibilities
As counsel for the TSI business, you will:

- Directly advise the leadership team and influencing the direction of the business.
- Advise on a broad range of product, commercial, and regulatory matters, such as ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, leading implementation for new regulations, considering legal issues of first impression, and supporting strategic business relationships
- Support the development of AI and other science techniques to protect Amazon's store at scale
- Advise on pre-litigation legal disputes and manage outside counsel handling arbitrations
- Work cross-functionally, particularly with our law enforcement and litigation teams, to hold bad actors accountable through referrals and proactive litigation
- Positively impact the livelihood of all sellers in Amazon's store by protecting them from abuse and helping them navigate compliance
- Help drive strategic initiatives to support our external engagement pillars on how Amazon protects our store, including working cross-functionally to contribute proactive legal and legislative initiatives

About the team
You will be part of the Legal team within NA Stores Legal that supports Amazon's Selling Partner Services business, the worldwide team that enables third-party sellers to sell products through Amazon.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
- Experience working closely with and advising senior executives of an organization or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
