DESCRIPTION

The Operations Program Manager at eero is responsible for driving new production introduction end to end from concept through ramp of eero wifi devices. Your role starts from the concept commitment and continues through the production ramp and completes after Post Ramp Qualifications ensuring all manufacturing operations are stood up at factory.

From Part number and label definitions to line layout and yield improvement, to channel fill and BOM cost risk & opportunity management, you are responsible for the planning, definition, and execution of introducing a new product to market. SMA and FATP are familiar acronyms as your the primary operational point of contact to stand up the factory production line.

You are biased for action in identifying gating decisions, gathering data, weighing options, and making forward progress. You are data driven and calculate risk associated to tactically bring a product through manufacturing to market balancing user experience, product branding, manufacturability, and cost. You lead phase gate reviews for build readiness, manage expectations across teams and across management. Your impact footprint is broad as you are also the Operations PM that triages and leads eero operations for international expansion programs.

Key job responsibilities
- Two headed lead (along side EPM) for eero’s core product through new product introduction
- Work cross-functionally with EPM, Test, Quality, MDE, PD, EE, RF, Commodities, Materials, Product, and Supply Chain to define and deliver a best in class manufacturing line at factory.
- Drive NPI into factory (EVT, DVT, PVT) and ongoing qualification management
- Stand-up factory ensuring definition and execution for all areas required for production line.
- Run weekly sub-core team of manufacturing and supply chain during NPI and weekly factory program sync.
- Owner for eero’s manufacturing line – primary contact point for CM to coordinate, define, and resolve any capacity and technical production issues on the line.
- Engage in process definition on production line flow, layout, UPH to optimize for eero production goals.
- Engage with supply chain and go to market teams to ensure product is available for our customers at street date.
- Develop rapport with supplier partners and detailed knowledge of "how the factory works" its capabilities and limitations.

- Own commitment for Build Readiness Reviews and Operations schedules that support EV, DV, PV+
- Lead weekly Operations Core meetings and CM NPI development meetings
- Manage cost risk & opportunities for your program
- Manage SKU Triage and street commitment for eero Operations for International Expansion for eero
- Support coverage in region with travel up to 2 trips per quarter to Asia to drive issue resolution and/or support build/ramp activities
- Manage and create change orders for product line NPI and Sustaining


A day in the life
As a member of our global team, you will be responsible for managing stakeholders across the US, Taiwan, China, and Vietnam. Typically, your days will involve working from Headquarters (SF) to collaborate on strategy, set expectations, and develop messaging for program updates. Early evenings are often spent engaging with in-region teammates and suppliers to lock in plans, make decisions, and solve problems, followed by late-night follow-up calls or Slack conversations with those same regional teammates. Quarterly, you will travel to Asia (approximately 2 weeks at a time) to lead, support, and drive New Product Introduction (NPI) programs forward and meet customer needs. Throughout the week, you will lead multiple core program calls and own the responsibility of making street date commitments for the international expansion of eero, while also providing a written executive update for your programs that are collectively reviewed by senior leadership. This role requires strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills to navigate the fast-paced, global nature of the business.

About the team
This role reports directly to the Head of Manufacturing & NPI which reports to a joint HW, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain organization.
