DESCRIPTION

Amazon Robotics is seeking a talented and motivated Technical Program Manager (TPM) who will be part of the Hardware- Test Engineering team focused on next generation robotic system testing. The TPM will manage the Hardware Test Engineering activities on innovative programs through the full project lifecycle aimed at mitigating the risk associated with new product development. This position is responsible for the planning and execution of testing while serving as liaison between hardware development, test engineering, and other key stakeholders. The TPM will also drive software and automation capability enhancements within the team to further delight customers.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead the effective and efficient delivery of cross-functional testing projects.
- Interact with Hardware Development, Hardware testing, and other key stakeholders to define and deliver testing on complex programs.
- Drive consensus on technical decisions and ensure the appropriate resources are employed to deliver high quality results.
- Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels.
- Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders.
- Support effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.
- Develop and drive testing schedules that meet the larger Hardware Program requirements.
- Drive testing on programs across all HW disciplines including Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, Safety, Regulatory, HW Test Engineering

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 2+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of working directly with hardware engineering teams experience
