To that end, Amazon is seeking an engineer over maintenance, repair and vendor management operations to support grocery expansion across the North American market.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Provide field support for refrigeration sites across assigned geography including support for operations, field maintenance, and food safety partners
- Manage multiple complex projects and tasks simultaneously as well as be able to influence, and develop relationships at all organization levels.
- Oversee the maintenance acceptance of part of commissioning large-scale, complex projects.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to facilities maintenance leadership and operations teams.
- Be involved in design review process across the North American market while providing guidance and professional recommendations on equipment standardization procurement to leverage scale, cost savings opportunities, and to standardize maintenance activities as we continue to expand the business.
- Travel domestically up to 50%.

Key job responsibilities
- Understanding of refrigeration systems, troubleshooting, design, and repair
- Familiarity with low-GWP refrigerants, pending regulatory requirements, and design changes
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
