DESCRIPTION
The Electrical Engineer Manager leads the designs automated packaging platforms and supporting systems to enable faster and more efficient delivery to Amazon's customers.
The Electrical Engineering Manager is responsible for providing leadership and technical expertise to the team developing packaging machinery and automation systems. This includes directing the electrical design work-streams, ensuring project documentation and certification, and optimizing the designs for customer experience, supply chain, and sustainability.
Key job responsibilities
-Lead the collaboration with cross-functional engineers to design and execute packaging machinery and automation projects
- Lead the collaboration in the electrical design work-streams, including panel design, power calculations, safety analysis, and schematics
- Ensure project documentation is complete and scalable for manufacturing
- Oversee the safety certification of projects/platforms
- Participate in and facilitate cross-functional meetings to align on objectives
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and invention
