This Principal Finance role will support controllership initiatives across the WWGS organization. This role will ensure that the WW Grocery, Stores & Stores Tech Finance processes stay ahead of risks associated with growth in areas of process design, internal control effectiveness, computer system integration, and other relevant areas. This role partners regularly with a broad range of finance and business leaders across the WW Stores/Grocery/Operations/FP&A/Accounting organizations often at some of the most senior levels within the company.

Key job responsibilities
- Key liaison and point of contact for the WW Amazon Stores (WWAS) and Corporate Controllership teams
- Project manage key controllership initiatives from WWAS/Corporate across the Grocery organization
- Coordinate across WW Grocery, Amazon Stores, Accounting & Stores Tech Finance organization to identify and drive resolution of any controls issues, share best practices, publish dashboards and follow up on completion of key controls tasks
- Analyze defect root causes and propose remediation and avoidance strategies across the organization
- Work cross-functionally with accounting teams as well as business teams within WW Grocery, Stores & Stores Tech to identify business requirements and implement controls
- Drive adherence to spending policies across functional teams
- Drive end-to-end process mapping for inventory/procurement/contract management
- Drive "real" P&L and Balance Sheet impact via a stronger controls framework / process improvements
- Support improved financial reporting and planning for all P&L and Balance Sheet items within the Grocery business
- Support hiring and developing the Finance team
