The role of the Packaging Designers is to create packaging that surprises and delights Amazon's customers.

The primary role of the Packaging Designer is to develop packaging designs that meet or exceed customer expectations while optimizing for the supply chain. The candidate will work directly with cross-functional teams to ensure Amazon's packaging is best-in-class through co-creation and optimization.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop, test, and refine new packaging designs
- Create detailed packaging specifications
- Produce reports on packaging performance
- Participate in or lead meetings to ensure developments meet benchmarks for customer experience, supply chain, and sustainability
- Travel to engage with customers, supply chain, labs, and vendors

About the team
The Mechatronics and Sustainable Packaging (MSP) team works to develop automated solutions and sustainable packaging across Amazon's operations, focusing on end-to-end customer experience and eliminating waste.
