Manage large Technical Projects that materially impact Amazon's Devices business.

Key job responsibilities
Amazon is looking for a talented TPM to join the Amazon Devices team in Seattle, WA. We materially impact Amazon’s device businesses by forecasting demand, influencing promotion pricing, and identifying optimal inventory allocation of all Amazon Devices using ML, operations research and big data. We are a growing team continues to operate in "startup" mode to prove new business ideas, while strengthening our core ML platforms.

About you:
You're an experienced TPM looking for a career where you'll be able to innovate, to deliver, and to influence. You have a demonstrable track record of success delivering high quality products and services. You are able to see the problem from the vantage points of a variety of stakeholders, assimilate these to arrive at a solution, and then drive consensus. You have experience communicating at Director/VP levels at the right levels of abstractions.

About us together:
We will work together on defining and executing on the overall product roadmap which revolves around creating optimization platform responsible for generating optimal manufacturing, shipping and allocation plans using decision science. We will also manage the relationship with the teams which have chosen to leverage our platform for their business. Responsibilities for this include setting expectations on what can and cannot be supported, resource budget management, mechanisms to progress tracking and closing the feedback loop. We will work with internal teams at Amazon to integrate with their systems and leverage their data to improve decision making of our models. We will innovate new methodologies for measuring the output of our systems. We will educate, evangelize and drive adoption of the new output and the new system.

We will use the latest operations research and mathematical modelling techniques and cutting edge distributed systems and AWS technologies to architect our new services which can extract information valuable to our business. We continually evaluate the effectiveness of our solutions and ways to improve them. Having Operations research background or willingness to over index on learning/curiosity will be key to your success.

A day in the life
This role will be responsible for multiple projects including our internal website, interfacing with Machine Learning Models and the OR Scientists who put the models together.
