As a Project Manager, Sustainability in AMZL (Amazon Logistics), you’ll be responsible for delivering the existing workstreams whilst executing new and disruptive ways to improve sustainability under the roof. This role is cross-functional, so you'll work closely with WW and EU Sustainability teams, Operations, Tech, Finance and Engineering to identify and implement sustainability improvements. You will be highly effective communicator who is confident delivering at scale, able to deliver key messages and successfully collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders to drive action and improvements. You don’t shy away from rolling up your sleeves and getting involved whenever necessary.

Please note, this role can be based any Amazon Delivery Station in the UK and is not limited to the locations highlighted.

Key job responsibilities
- You will deal with ambiguity and drive best practice by working alongside Operations and Central teams to identify opportunities to optimise performance and processes, reduce bottlenecks, improve communication, identify risks, and deliver continuous improvement.
- You will manage proactive healthy and positive working relationships on a day-to-day basis across a variety of stakeholders, such as Operations, EU Program teams, Procurement, Finance, IT, HR, ACES and Engineering.
- You will be responsible for the launch and expansion of specific initiatives, which require on site operational leadership during launch preparation, execution and ramp phases.
- You will develop and execute action plans to ensure the Sustainability goals are met. Track and drive both the tactical and operational goals and metrics of your projects, using project management best practises.
- You will be responsible for a wide range of communications. Creates, maintains and disseminates project information to stakeholders and senior management using common knowledge platforms.
