AWS Marketplace helps customers find, buy, and immediately start using software and services that run on the AWS Cloud. Our job is to bring Amazon's e-commerce expertise to cloud software and fundamentally change how software is discovered and consumed in the cloud. We have a long list of new ideas just waiting to be designed and implemented.
AWS Marketplace is looking for an experienced Buyer Enablement Leader to own the development, launch, and ongoing programs and features of the AWS Marketplace Enablement team. You will be responsible for owning the Customer/buyer feedback cycle (e.g., advisory counsels and focus groups) and launching new features and programs. Your responsibilities will include designing and managing a launch plan for new features and programs, working closely with product teams on new features launches, partnering with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Consulting Partners, and internal teams to build scalable programs that are designed around the buyers' business model and their differentiated offers.
You must have a combination of program management and business development with End-Customers, ISVs, and Consulting Partners, and a broad understanding of the software industry. You should have a track record of being a top-performing individual that is customer-centric, self-motivated, and have demonstrated experience in building and executing disruptive business models. We are a start-up within AWS so we wear many hats, work fast and smart, and adapt and iterate quickly. You must be ready to roll-up their sleeves and join a tightly-knit team that is tackling an interesting and challenging opportunity.
Key job responsibilities
Lead and manage the buyers feedback cycle through advisory councils, focus groups, and other feedback mechanisms. Gather, analyze, and act on feedback to improve AWS Marketplace offerings and buyers satisfaction.
Design, create, and manage comprehensive launch plans, ensuring successful rollouts and adoption for new features and enablement materials and resources.
Work closely with product teams and Center of Excellence, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation of new features and enablement resources.
Partner with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Consulting Partners, and internal teams to build scalable programs tailored to Buyers and Internal Sales teams business models and offerings.
Develop and execute strategic plans for new features and existing features and enablement programs that align with business goals.
Monitor and report on enablement performance, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within AWS Marketplace.
Implement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance partner and customer experiences.
Act as a champion for partners and customers, ensuring their needs and feedback are incorporated into AWS Marketplace strategies and offerings.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Leadership and Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and customer support.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Market and Industry Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
Use market insights to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Reporting and Metrics:
Develop and maintain metrics to measure program success and impact.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on program performance and strategic initiatives.
Hands-on Involvement:
Be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get involved in day-to-day tasks as needed.
Adapt and iterate quickly to address challenges and seize new opportunities.

- 6+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 6 + years of experience developing Go-To-Market strategies to drive adoption for cloud Marketplaces.
- 6+ years experience in building customer/Buyer enablement resources
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
- MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
