A strategically important part of our charter is to drive adoption across a portfolio of self-service, cost per click advertising products to enable head to tail advertisers to engage with customers in relevant ways. Our team is tasked with making it easy for prospective and current advertisers to increase visibility of their products and services, which also helps Amazon customers discover more selection—a win-win!

As part of our growing US SMB Marketing team, we are looking for a Partnership Marketing Manager who is passionate about helping small businesses succeed on Amazon. In this role, you will own the strategy, execution, and measurement of co-marketing initiatives between Stores and Ads organizations in the US. You will be responsible for developing storytelling and content strategy, identifying opportunities to elevate existing communications, integrating messaging in scaled channels, and measuring the impact of your initiatives. To be successful you’ll need to be a strong communicator and collaborator who can earn trust with key leaders and stakeholders across multiple teams. You are results-oriented and have a relentless focus on using customer data and insights to deliver bar-raising experiences.


Key job responsibilities
- Strategy development: formulate marketing strategies aligned with business opportunities; align your vision with leaders and partners
- Marketing execution: Develop marketing content, partner with relevant teams to deploy through scaled channels (email, portals, website, social media), audit and optimize existing content and targeting
- Reporting: measure the impact of your initiatives, gather feedback, and leverage insights to improve go-forward messaging and communications

About the team
The global SMB (Small and Medium Businesses) marketing team serves sales unmanaged advertisers globally. Our mission is twofold: 1) Grow Amazon Ads awareness & consideration amongst SMBs globally 2) Drive Sponsored Ads demand for the self service (SSO) channel.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, retail, or related fields
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience developing cross-functional relationships with product, consumer research and marketing teams to develop strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $108,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
