Amazon seeks a Finance Manager to join the U.S. Customer Fulfillment Productivity and Volume Planning Team.


Key job responsibilities
- Coordinate planning or reporting processes partnering with various stakeholders across HQ and Field Finance
- Facilitate effective leadership reviews, manage communication with stakeholders and monitor closure of follow-up items
- Financial modeling, data mining and presentation support
- Manage data in financial systems and create insightful analysis to drive business improvement
- Manage database tools and reporting mechanisms
- Drive special projects to improve the overall planning function

A day in the life
The Finance Manager is an individual contributor with ownership of critical inputs into the Rate & Volume Planning process. We are seeking individuals with strong finance skills coupled with sound business judgment and effective communication. Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential to this role.

About the team
The Productivity and Volume Planning Team is responsible for planning the volume flows and productivity rates for over 300 Amazon Fulfillment Centers with over $30B in Variable Operating Expenses. The team collaborates with Operations and Finance leadership daily to help our leaders make data driven decisions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- CPA, or MBA
- Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
