Major Responsibilities:
· Manage Request for Proposals (RFPs) and sourcing events for global transportation services.
· Manage the data integrity and accuracy of the transportation rate card across a global network and multiple modes of transportation
· Create a “learn by doing” environment by engaging with internal and external business partners to promote and encourage continued customer focus and cost reduction
· Partner with your team to oversee sourcing events and assist in the launching of RFP’s, develop analytical models / automation efforts while overseeing their continuous innovation and communication to both your operations & other business partners
· Benchmark rate information versus historic pricing and versus competition
· Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in accurately managing the rate card and vendor submissions accordingly
· Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations.
· Analyze and solve business problems at their root.

· BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related
· 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, global transportation, and data interpretation of business impact and results
· 3+ years of experience with Excel advanced tools (pivots, lookups, etc.)
- Knowledge of Freight rates and pricing structures across multiple modes of transportation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Proven experience within a Logistics, Transportation, or Distribution Center processes and systems
· Advanced problem solving and root cause analysis combined with proven ability to communicate those analysis
· Highly analytical, detail oriented and strong business sense; proven ability to manage new ideas and creative solutions
· Manage and prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, growing and ambiguous environment
· Solid Project Management Skills
· Experience working with Coupa Sourcing Optimization and/or Coupa Sourcing
· Basic experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, Tableau, MSAccess, Essbase and/or Cognos) and other financial systems such (i.e. Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $71,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $153,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
