This program manager will drive aspects of internal engagements with teams to include organization level events, production of success and engagement metrics, external customer engagements, and driving measurable operational efficiencies and impactful process changes. In addition, you will lead in organizing and managing the catalogue of security operational procedures, and authoring new SOPs in new capabilities developed through projects in conjunction with teams. As a member of the Security Operations Center (SOC) you will be at the forefront of customer and partner engagements, developing and executing on critical processes, enabling teams to move progressively in delivering results.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to:
• Build trust, influence and credibility with a matrixed set of global stakeholders
• Lead projects related to improving existing processes or launching new projects
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills and instincts with stakeholders at all levels delivering concise and effective messages to a variety of audiences with the right detail and timing
• Apply strong judgment and contextual awareness to act with a high degree of autonomy
• Support change management and communication activities
• Set collaboration committees for specific business objectives in order to deliver solutions with the most efficient use of resources and technologies
• Act as a bridge between relevant teams to ensure internal communications content is laddering up to core themes, big rock moments, and is engaging to all employees across the org and our partners.
• Examine costs, benefits, and tradeoffs across multiple customer groups to assess impacts and benefits of proposed projects

A successful candidate will have an opportunity to support and improve the Security Operations Center (SOC) experience for our customers while providing critical support for the internal teams who are delivering the service in a fast paced, secure environment. The work is challenging and varies daily, offering a continuous learning experience. The candidate for this role will have strong operational, process skills, with experience using project management tools and processes for efficient task management and project tracking. Strong writing and communication capabilities will be crucial.

- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
