DESCRIPTION

The AWS Customer Research team is seeking a dynamic Customer Research Manager to join our growing team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our product and marketing teams remain customer-focused by providing deep insights into customer challenges, pain points, and high points. As the Customer Research Manager, you will develop and implement strategies for automating tracking research across multiple research platforms. This involves managing end-to-end operations of high-visibility research projects, ensuring efficient data collection and analysis throughout the process. A critical aspect of your role will be interpreting data, writing comprehensive reports, and making recommendations that inform key business decisions. You'll collaborate closely with external agencies to streamline research processes and data flow, enhancing the overall efficiency of our research operations. You'll be responsible for designing and maintaining dashboards that enable real-time utilization of data and insights across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer research, with expertise in both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical abilities and outstanding project management skills. Experience with automating research processes and working with multiple research platforms is essential. We're looking for a self-starter with strong attention to detail, capable of diving deep into every aspect of a project. The ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment is crucial. Strong communication skills are a must, experience in designing and maintaining data dashboards is highly desirable. Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques would be advantageous.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams

- Experience in both qualitative and quantitative research techniques

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market.
