DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a skilled, motivated sales enablement individual to join AWS Analyst Relations (AR) team and own North American Sales Enablement. This specialist plays a critical role in providing advisory, enablement support to the North American (NAMER) based sales teams across AWS current and prospective customers. Your role will be cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with NAMER-based sales teams supporting sales opportunities, leveraging analyst insights. This position ensures the sales organization leverages analysts’ insights, research and market trend data to effectively differentiate AWS’s products/services.


Key job responsibilities
• Develop and execute a multi-year strategic plan to engage various NAMER AWS sales channels and customers, utilizing Analyst Research establishing AWS as a thought leader, to influence customer buying decisions.

• Manage ongoing relationships with the AR team, sales channels, and accounts/analysts through briefings, events, and personalized outreach to gather feedback and shape sales enablement strategy

• Collaborate closely with the NAMER sales leaders and their teams to understand their AR support needs at various stages of the enterprise IT cloud services sales cycle

• Produce and deliver sales enablement materials like presentations, playbooks, and one-pagers focused on analyst insights and recommendations

• Develop and deliver programs to educate sales teams on industry trends and how to leverage analyst research in sales opportunities

• Provide insights and guidance on customer perspectives, market trends and competitive intelligence to help shape sales/AR/AWS strategies, positioning and customer messaging

• Stay up-to-date on industry cloud service buying trends, changing market dynamics and the competitive cloud service provider NAMER landscape in order to provide the sales organization with strategic insights/recommendations

• Measure and report on the impact of analyst relations programs on pipeline generation, deal closure, and broader business goals

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in technology industry sales, marketing, or analyst relations
- Proven track record of influencing sales channels and advisors to drive positive pipeline and deal pursuit
- Strong project and relationship management skills with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for developing compelling sales enablement content
- Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish credibility and trust
- Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Strong understanding of the enterprise sales cycle and the role of industry analysts in influencing purchasing decisions
- Proven experience in analyst relations, cloud service sales or related role with the cloud services industry
- In-depth knowledge of IT industry analyst firms and how their research influences sales deals

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
