The North America Stores (NAS) ACES team works on behalf of Retail employees and Selling Partners to drive process efficiency, reduce defects, and deliver financial savings through continuous improvement projects. ACES Program Managers lead programs leveraging Lean and Six Sigma (LSS) methodologies, lead Kaizen events, and support LSS programs across the organization.


Key job responsibilities
• Work with Business teams and use data to identify and prioritize high impact improvement opportunities
• Lead process improvement and defect reduction initiatives across functional issues ranging from new item setup, buyability troubleshooting, buying and supply chain, financial disputes and more
• Deliver Financial Savings through projects
• Design and implement Voice of the Customer mechanisms
• Drive consistency of process, training, and reporting across functional teams
• Provide periodic project updates, including major successes/challenges, to senior management
• Manage and constantly improve the idea management (ideation to implementation) process
• Conduct VSMs and FMEAs to identify improvement opportunities as and when needed
• Strong Analytical skills , able to make sense out of messy data

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Six Sigma Certification (Black Belt)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
