DESCRIPTION

Come support the future of streaming video advertising by joining the PV Ads Finance Team. We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to support our internal reporting mechanisms with data and analysis.

Key job responsibilities
- Gather data and prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly business reports as well as ad-hoc data analysis.
- Support month/quarter/annual close processes with variance analysis, including commentary on key drivers of variance vs. plan.
- Support monthly payment processes with content/device partners by providing reporting on revenue performance and royalty estimates.
- Support monthly/quarterly/annual long range forecasting for PV Ads Business.

Prime Video Ads Finance partners with the broader Prime Video Finance organization to support ad-supported content planning, technology investment, and overall business strategy. We strive to deliver high-quality and actionable insights, strategic analysis, and financial controllership to build a sustainable long-term Ad-supported streaming business that will delight customers and provide maximum value to the Prime Video business and Amazon overall.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $56,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
