XCM’s Global Media team is looking for a Principal Product Manager Tech to steward the marketing measurement and automation product strategy to scale our packaging and fleet marketing channels worldwide. Key job responsibilities
In this role you will develop the product strategy, roadmap, and delivery of our measurement products to scale packaging and van marketing worldwide. You work backwards from channel measurement needs, working closely with marketing, science, engineering, operations, and finance teams to understand their needs and barriers to scaling. You work with your science and engineering teams to deliver the measurement models that support your charter, and then simplify and scale through automation. You also work with senior Amazon leaders during the business planning cycles to drive meaningful growth for the business. We are looking for a leader who can thrive in a startup environment, thinks big, move fast, and wants to change the way leaders use data and marketing measurement to drive business success. You’re known for your high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, deep understanding of the tech & the science, and ability to lead.

A day in the life
Your product management practices set a great example to others, successfully leading all stages of the product lifecycle from concept to delivery:
• Define and drive the multi-year vision for your product portfolio and the team
• Lead strategic planning to achieve technical and business goals.
• Work with science, engineering, marketing, operations, and finance leaders, and present to Amazon’s Sr. Leaders
• Deliver Product Vision, 3-year Plan, PRFAQS, and Business Requirement docs.
• Own end-to-end product lifecycle and deliver long-lasting solutions.
• Influence priorities and business strategy through quantitative and qualitative contributions.
• Interact directly with stakeholders and users to continuously improve products and programs.
• Define clear goals and objectives for the business in the planning and execution space while identifying risks and strategizing mitigation plans.
• Mentor other product managers

Cross-Channel, Cross-Category Marketing (XCM) creates marketing campaigns that are measurably effective, creatively breakthrough, and scaled for impact. Project Chariot is XCM’s investment to transform the fleet and packages into the biggest, most loved out of home media channel in the world, helping Amazon win hearts and minds and change behaviors for Amazon’s most important programs and offerings.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience technical product management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience developing marketing measurement models (econometric models, experimental models)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
