We are seeking an influential and experienced DEI program manager to execute against the DEI strategy for our Last Mile Delivery & Tech (LMDT) organization, with dedicated support to our Geospatial/WW Hub Teams, by partnering with leaders to help us grow a diverse global workforce while fostering equity and inclusion. You’ll use your skills to work both across the business as well as deep dive with specific teams to help them identify opportunities and apply best practices that achieve change. You’ll partner with senior leadership teams to design, coordinate, track and measure our DEI solutions and overall plan.
Key job responsibilities
As part of the LMDT and Geospatial/WW Hub Team, you will work closely with LMDT business leaders and colleagues across PXT (including HR business partners, talent leads, and recruiting) to help organizational leaders set, track, and achieve DEI goals. As a DEI program manager, you will assess the current state and identify best practices to move the business forward. You will also partner with Amazon’s global PXT team to drive corporate-wide programs at scale into our organization. You will measure and communicate results against committed DEI actions, so that we can ensure meaningful progress toward DEI and business goals. Ability to assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, and balance business needs as they implement DEI programs is critical. Successful candidates will have experience analyzing and leveraging DEI data to set priorities and understand challenges, advising and coaching leaders, earning trust with customers, supporting equitable talent processes, and exhibiting the ability to invent and simplify to translate best practices and research into action. You should not only be passionate about delivering DEI solutions but obsessed with driving meaningful results that ultimately impact our customers.

A day in the life
In this role, you will:
- Earn trust across a range of levels and disciplines to establish yourself and the team as a trusted DEI Subject Matter Expert
- Assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs as DEI programs are implemented
- Translate research and best practices in DEI into readily consumable resources and programs aligned to business need
- Bring innovative solutions to broaden our DEI portfolio and drive measurable business results
- Create, maintain, and disseminate resources in a variety of formats across all levels of the organization
- Dive deep with quantitative and qualitative data analyses to identify the root causes of problems through an expanded, holistic view and long-term perspective and think big to develop scalable solutions
- Connect and inspire people to drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities
- Regularly measure, inspect, analyze and provide insights regarding areas of strength and opportunity, and provide consultative support to identify interventions and initiatives for improvement
- Have outstanding verbal and written communication skills to motivate and influence senior leaders, stakeholders and peer groups
- Provide leadership and coaching, when appropriate, to managers, Directors and VPs via one-to-one and group interactions
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
