The Opportunity:


This is a hybrid role with flexible onsite expectations, typically 1 to 2 days per week. New employees are expected to be onsite 2 to 3 times a week during their first three months to support onboarding and collaboration.

About The Role:

The Machine Operator 1 is responsible for safely and efficiently operating production equipment to support daily manufacturing requirements. This role ensures machines are set up accurately, run smoothly, and produce high‑quality output in accordance with company standards. The Machine Operator 1 also performs routine inspections, identifies issues, and works closely with team members and supervisors to maintain a clean, safe, and productive work environment.

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment and processes
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
  • Reliable, self‑motivated, and comfortable completing repetitive tasks
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or machine operation environment is an asset
  • Experience operating mechanical or automated equipment preferred
  • On‑the‑job training will be provided for all equipment-specific tasks

Skill requirements

  • Ability to operate, monitor, and troubleshoot basic machinery
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Ability to lift, move, or handle materials as required (weight dependent on role needs)
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods
  • Knowledge of workplace safety practices
  • Ability to identify mechanical or operational issues and escalate appropriately
