Your role and responsibilities

As a Package Consultant specializing in SAP HANA SCM MM, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and configuring SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement based Materials Management (MM) solutions for clients.

Functional & Configuration

• Configure and support SAP MM and WM modules based on business requirements

• Design solutions for procurement, inventory management, and warehouse processes

• Customize system settings including:

o Purchasing (PR, PO, RFQ)

o Inventory management

o Warehouse structures (storage bins, strategies, transfer orders)

Implementation & Support

• Participate in full lifecycle SAP implementations (Explore, Realize, Deploy, Run)

• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specs

• Support unit testing, integration testing, and UAT

• Provide post-go-live support and issue resolution

Integration

• Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules:

o SD (Sales & Distribution)

o PP (Production Planning)

o FI (Finance)

• Work with technical teams for enhancements, reports, interfaces, and conversions (RICEFW)

Documentation & Training

• Develop functional specifications for developments and enhancements

• Create process documentation and user guides

• Conduct training sessions for business users

Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise

• Strong experience in SAP MM and WM (or EWM preferred)

• Deep understanding of:

o Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process

o Inventory management

o Warehouse operations and logistics

Experience

• 5+ years of SAP MM/WM experience (adjust based on level)

• At least 1-2 full lifecycle implementations

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus

Tools & Knowledge

• Configuration and customization in SAP MM & WM

• Familiarity with IDOCs, LSMW, BAPIs (nice to have)

• Knowledge of batch management, serial numbers, and warehouse strategies

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Adaptability in fast-paced environments

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain, Business, or related field

• SAP certification (MM or WM) is a plus

• 5+ years of SAP MM/WM experience (adjust based on level)

• At least 1-2 full lifecycle implementations"

Preferred technical and professional experience

Experience with SAP EWM or S/4HANA Embedded WM

• Exposure to automation tools (RF scanning, barcode, robotics integration)

• Experience in manufacturing or distribution industries

- Functional configurations aligned with business requirements

• Process optimization and efficiency improvements

• Stable SAP MM/WM operations and support
