In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Package Consultant specializing in SAP HANA SCM EWM, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and configuring SAP S/4HANA Extended Warehouse Management solutions for clients. Your expertise will enable clients to optimize their supply chain operations, improve inventory management, and increase warehouse efficiency.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Assist with Solution Design: Learn to design solutions that cater to clients' business requirements using SAP S/4HANA EWM capabilities. You will have the opportunity to explore how to optimize supply chain operations and improve inventory management;
• Support Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their business needs and participate in the implementation of SAP S/4HANA EWM solutions. This will involve collaborating with clients to identify areas for improvement in their warehouse operations;
• Explore SAP S/4HANA EWM Capabilities: Observe and learn how to configure SAP S/4HANA EWM solutions to meet clients' specific needs. You will gain exposure to the capabilities of SAP S/4HANA EWM and its applications in real-world scenarios;
• Contribute to Implementation: Participate in the implementation of designed solutions using SAP S/4HANA EWM capabilities. This will involve working closely with clients to ensure seamless integration of the solution into their existing systems.

The student must meet the following conditions:

• The internship must be a requirement of the academic program or be duly authorized by the university.
• Provide an official university endorsement letter as a requirement for onboarding.
• Maintain active student status throughout the entire internship period (graduation before completion is not allowed).
• Full-time availability for 6 months (1,080 hours).
• Availability to work 40 hours per week.

Technical Requirements and Competencies:
• Basic Understanding of SAP S/4HANA EWM: Familiarity with the capabilities and applications of SAP S/4HANA Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) in optimizing supply chain operations and improving inventory management.
• Exposure to Supply Chain Operations: Interest in understanding the intricacies of supply chain operations and identifying areas for improvement in warehouse management.
• Awareness of Inventory Management Principles: Basic knowledge of inventory management principles and practices, including the role of technology in improving inventory management.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Efficiency Concepts: Understanding of concepts related to warehouse efficiency and the importance of optimizing warehouse operations.
• Interest in SAP Configuration: Curiosity about configuring SAP S/4HANA EWM solutions to meet specific business needs and requirements.
