As a Designer in Digital Product Engineering, you will be responsible for the overall experience and usability of the product. This requires skills in research, visual design, experience design, accessibility, and facilitation to deliver high-quality products. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Develop Product Experiences: Collaborate with Product Management to develop an understanding of users and their needs, and define product experiences that support both the user and the business case. • Define Requirements: Work with Engineers to collaboratively define requirements, ensuring that the product can be feasibly delivered and meets user needs. • Conduct Research: Apply research skills to inform design decisions and ensure that products meet user needs and are accessible. • Support Product Management: Assist in developing a viable business case by providing design expertise and insights. • Ensure Accessibility: Implement accessibility principles to ensure that products are usable by all users.
• Research Skills: Exposure to applying research methods to inform design decisions and ensure products meet user needs and are accessible. • Visual Design Expertise: Experience working with visual design principles to deliver high-quality products that support user experiences. • Experience Design Knowledge: Exposure to designing product experiences that support both users and business cases. • Accessibility Principles: Experience working with accessibility principles to ensure products are usable by all users. • Facilitation Skills: Exposure to facilitating collaboration with Product Management and Engineers to define requirements and deliver feasible products.
• Business Case Development: Exposure to supporting Product Management in developing a viable business case through design expertise and insights. • Collaborative Requirement Definition: Experience working with Engineers to collaboratively define requirements, ensuring that the product can be feasibly delivered and meets user needs. • User-Centered Design: Exposure to applying research skills to inform design decisions and ensure that products meet user needs and are accessible.
