As a Brand Sales Specialist for zHardware, you will be responsible for creating demand and progressing opportunities to close for zHardware solutions. This role involves driving sales efforts for a range of IBM zHardware products and services and LinuxONE.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Create Demand for zHardware Solutions: Develop and execute strategies to create demand for zHardware solutions, identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities and progressing existing ones to close.
• Progress Opportunities: Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to progress sales opportunities, providing solutions that meet client needs and driving revenue growth for IBM zHardware products and services.
• Deliver Solution Sales: Apply knowledge of zHardware solutions to deliver sales that meet client needs, working closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
• Identify New Sales Opportunities: Continuously identify and pursue new sales opportunities for zHardware solutions, staying up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity.
• Drive Revenue Growth: Focus on driving revenue growth for IBM zHardware products and services and LinuxONE, developing and executing sales strategies that deliver results.
• Understanding of Solution Sales: Experience working with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions, with a focus on delivering sales that meet client requirements.
• Knowledge of Market Trends: Exposure to market trends and competitor activity in the zHardware space, with the ability to stay up-to-date and identify new sales opportunities.
• Experience with Sales Strategies: Experience developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth for technology products and services.
• Familiarity with Client Collaboration: Experience working collaboratively with clients and internal stakeholders to progress sales opportunities and deliver solutions that meet client needs.
• Exposure to zHardware Solutions: Familiarity with IBM zHardware products and services and LinuxONE technology, with the ability to apply this knowledge to drive sales efforts.
• Broader Solution Sales Experience: Experience working with clients to deliver sales across multiple technology products and services can be an asset in this position.
• Industry Insights: Familiarity with industry trends and competitor activity beyond the zHardware space or LinuxONE can help inform sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
• Experience on banking sector and new areas such as digital assets will be valuable.
• Strong Communication Skills with ability to clearly explain technical hardware concepts to both technical and non-technical customers, adapting the message to different audiences. Customer-centric mindset and relationship building. Adaptability and learning skills on new technologies and market trends. Experience on negotiation and problem solving skills.
