As a Marketing and Communication intern, you will play a key role in strengthening our internal identity and helping us tell the story of who we are—through communication, branding, and events that support our culture, engagement, and growth.

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Marketing and Communication intern at the FutureNow Center, you will contribute to shaping the way we communicate and connect within our company. You will work closely with our team to support mainly internal event activities, communication and branding. Your responsibilities include:

  • Taking the lead in creating, improving, and maintaining internal communication across newsletters, Slack, email invitations, and other channels. You also brainstorm and propose new ideas for innovative communication approaches.
  • Helping organize internal events, such as fun activities, sports events, educational sessions, and the monthly internal company meeting.
  • Supporting the organization of external events, such as for example In-House Days for students. This includes coordinating with schools, setting up agendas, and arranging presenters.
  • Taking photos and recording videos during events and turning this content into promotional materials for internal or external use.
  • Designing communication materials based on existing brand guidelines, including posters, flyers, booklets, and other visual assets, and contributing to the implementation of internal marketing and communication strategies that strengthen the FutureNow Center brand.
  • Analysing communication and event activities to understand their impact and suggesting improvements.
  • Availability: 40 hours per week.
Required education

Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; multilingualism is considered an asset.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive work attitude.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Ability to work with diverse personalities and cultures.
  • Affinity with visual design.
  • Experience or familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Figma.
  • Experience with photography and or videography
