Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our zSoftware Techline team. This role is focused on IBM’s strategic offerings, pricing and licensing methodologies, and business rules. Your Role

In the Techline role, you will be the go-to expert for sellers and clients, providing:

· Pricing and licensing guidance

· Complex quotes and technical solutions

· Product and deployment support

· Resolution of inventory and invoicing issues in collaboration with the Q2C admin team

You will primarily support z/Software (zSW) accounts in your assigned market, using tools such as zPricer, CFSW/CESW, Shopz, iBASE, and EPM to assist with:

· MLC and IPLA deployments and cost projections

· Tailored Fit Pricing (TFP) implementations

· Sub-capacity utilization and tracking

· Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) zSW new entitlements and renewals

· Hardware upgrade and consolidation scenario

Your Responsibilities

· Demonstrate a solid understanding of IBM mainframe pricing and licensing (MLC, IPLA, SCRT, DevTest, TFP, etc.)

· Engage directly with clients to understand and discuss their environments

· Research and articulate findings to drive client satisfaction and resolution

· Resolve billing issues related to MLC and OTC licensing

· Clearly explain licensing methodologies, deployment processes, and business guidelines to reduce risk and accelerate value

· Collaborate across teams to support broader business objectives
